Australia Day – Salute Stage

Set in Hickson Road Reserve overlooking Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge, Megadeck set up the annual ‘Salute Stage’ for Australia Day on behalf of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Installing staging on grass and a sloping area always has its challenges however the Megadeck stage technicians have a variety of methods to ensure a safe, level and sturdy stage is assembled.

By using a combination of adjustable stage legs and bracing techniques, overcoming the uneven outdoor terrain was no problem at all.

Complete with handrails for safety and finished in a hard cladding plus stage skirting, the entire stage came together beautifully to celebrate the nation and its people.
