MCEC hosts back-to-back major events in 2025
Next February will kick off 2025 with a bang with Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre MCEC hosting The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) followed by The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry the UFI Asia Pacific Conference.
UFI represents over 50,000 professionals and more than 850 organisations in 87 countries and regions, bringing together trade show organisers, venue owners and operators, service providers, national as well as international industry associations.
The 2025 conference starts on February 13-14, 2025, immediately following the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) which runs from February 10-12.
(AIME) is the leading trade event for the meetings and event industry in the Asia Pacific region. AIME is where industry decision makers connect, create and do business. Bringing together international and local event planners connecting them with the best destinations, venues and event suppliers from around the world.
MCEC CEO, Natalie O’Brien, said the venue is thrilled to be the principal partner for the UFI event which is to be held in Australia for the first time.
“[It] will now be a momentous week for the business events industry in the Asia Pacific region,” Ms O’Brien said. “Coordinating these events to be held in the same week and in the same location is an incredible outcome achieved through outstanding collaboration and partnership.”
AIME 2025 attendees will now have an added incentive for extending their stay next year with AIME 2024 being the biggest in a decade with more than 33 countries represented at the event.
