Set against the iconic backdrop of Sydney Harbour at the North Sydney Olympic Pool, Megadeck Australia provided staging for the live telecast of the Socceroo’s match against Denmark. It wasn’t to be Australia’s night but an enthusiastic crowd turned out to watch our boys play in Russia.

To watch the game live, a huge LED wall was assembled on Megadeck stages to provide to strength and stability required for such a large viewing screen. The massive screen by TDC was distributed across the Megadeck steel stages to account for the cumulative weight of the screen and suitable ballast required for support.

In front of the huge screen was a clear acrylic Megadeck stage jutting out into the pool itself. Aquatic staging is a speciality of Megadeck Australia and by assembling a level and secure pool stage, pre-game speeches and mid game entertainment could be enjoyed by the attending audience.
